JENNIFER LEISTER

Jennifer Leister, MA, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, a well-respected psychotherapist who counsels adults, adolescents, and children. She is professionally trained in short term, solution-based therapy. Jennifer has extensive experience working with families in transition.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and her Master of Arts degree from Amberton University. Jennifer has a special place in her heart for at risk adolescents and children.

Jennifer has been working with children, adolescents and adults since 2002. Her areas of expertise include ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Mood Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders.

In addition to working with children and adolescents, she has expertise in individual, couples and group counseling. She also assists families dealing with separation, divorce, co-parenting, and other situations where families are raising children between two homes.

 

There are several options available for families in transition. Jennifer specializes in counseling families in divorce, co-parent counseling, parent coordination, and parent facilitation. Jennifer also has extensive experience in litigation and collaborative law.

In her free time, Jennifer can be found spending time with her husband, daughter and son, enjoying the pool and the sun.

RACHAEL TALIANCICH

Rachael Taliancich, MA, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.

 

Rachael has had a diverse professional journey starting in information technology, transitioning into childcare and childcare administration, and eventually finding her passion in counseling. This range of experience has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of individuals in various settings. She advocates for a holistic approach to counseling, recognizing that individuals are intricately linked within and to their surrounding systems.

In her current role as a therapist, Rachael works to facilitate collaborative and trust-based therapeutic relationships. She offers counseling, coaching, and play therapy services for children, adolescents, parents, and adults.

 

Outside of work, Rachael and her husband are transitioning empty-nesters and enjoy watching their blended family launch into adulthood.

Monty is Jennifer's therapy dog who loves participating in counseling sessions. He has passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) exam. Monty loves giving hugs to kids who enjoy interacting with him. For families who are not interested in his services, no problem; Monty enjoys interacting with other professionals in the office.
